This 3rd annual Winter Solstice celebrated by pianist Kathryn Goodson and friends explores the warmth, light and magic hidden in the darkest time of year. South African soprano Goitsemang Lehobye and renowned cellist Thor Sigurdson join Kathryn, presenting nocturnal music of dreams & fantasies. Repertoire includes Debussy’s Sonate pour violoncelle et piano, Dream With Me by Bernstein, explorations of night and fantasy by Strauss, Florence Price and Schubert, as well as lullabies from around the globe.
